When did you get belly stretch marks?

I know stretch marks aren't always completely avoidable... but i've been oiling up every day hoping to at least slow them down! My tummy is so tight i feel like it's about to explode any day now! When did you first see stretch marks on your bellies?

i had none! UNTIL i woke up one morning around 37 weeks and my belly was filled with them!

and i oiled up atleast three times a day

38 weeks. When LO dropped & contractions started. They started low, now as strong as my ctrx have got, they make a ripple effect from my bellybutton out like red flames of the sun

I swear ctrx makes them, or mine at least. And I have a bit of a grudge against LO. I held out for so long... ugh!

Just a few on my hips with DD around 35 weeks, but none this time so far...knock on wood.

I didn't do anything special to avoid getting them on my belly.

After I had my DD1, so I always sort or chuckle when I see the smug "I have no stretch mark" posts. They may still be coming...

I didn't notice the ones I got with my DD until after I delivered. They were tiny and beneath my belly button where I couldn't see it. Considering their size, I think I must have gotten in the last week (around 39 weeks). I'm afraid, however, that they'll work like a zipper for this pregnancy and they'll expand horribly... Time will tell, I guess.

Mine pretty much showed up as soon as he dropped which was around 34 weeks. Then they popped up everywhere and are very itchy!

None yet. I haven't done a thing to prevent them, and I had oodles in puberty. I give credit to my "slow and steady" weight gain.

Maybe around 30-32 weeks. There very small. One on each side of my belly button. I palmers daily and they've already faded a lot. No new ones either.

I got my first subtle stretch marks on my belly at 36 weeks, now, at 39 weeks, I have a belly plastered in them. I used Bio Oil everyday.

Oh I have always had a few tummy stretch marks (from weight gain and loss in college). But I believe they started forming at about 30 weeks when I was pregnant with DS. And this time around even my stretch marks seem to have stretch marks....I started noticing more around 25 weeks with this pregnancy.

I have tried all sorts of anti stretch mark creams....hasnt really helped.

None yet at 31 weeks, but I almost cried the other day when I thought I saw a huge one. Turns out is was just the mark from the seam of my sweatpants! I was so happy, but I know they are coming eventually. My mom and sister both have them and that is the best indicator.

I got them really early and have continued to get them even though I have been using palmers tummy butter and putting bio oil on top of that. My stomach looks horrible but dr says its becaues I have fair sensitive skin. Im am happy for those of you who dont have them though gl on not getting any then are awefully ugly

I got some at around 35 weeks. I'm hoping that with the oil damage will be limited after LO comes...

I also know a lot of people who get them after the birth. Not to put a downer on it! I also know a whole load of people who don't get any at all!!

Keep up oiling LOTS!!!!!!!!!!!! and they will fade after LO I cried when I first found mine, I even have some on my legs too...

With my first pregnancy i got 3 very small stretch marks around my belly button. At this point those stretch marks have gotten a little larger and a couple more creeped up also around the belly button. Both my mom and sister have quite a bit of stretch marks but i am hoping mine will stop here.

With DS I never got 1.

this time around I got 3 small ones above my belly button and thankfully that is it so far. They've been there for weeks though...I can't even remember when it was they first popped up. Just hoping they don't multiply, enlarge or darken!!

My mom never got one stretchmark with any of her kids so since lots of people say it's a genetic thing, I was pretty happy about that. I still used lotion 1-2 times a day and oil every night for the last 6 months when I started gaining weight.

I now have tons of stretch marks under my belly button that came out of no where about a week ago. It took them about 24 hours to appear and they are constantly getting worse.
