I'm here, doing absolutely nothing. I had to work today, L is sound asleep, and my house is dirty. I should be cleaning, but H promised me he would take over my chores if he could leave for a weekend fishing trip. Well he's back from his trip and was home all day, and did nothing. Therefore I am on strike!

I remember when my dad went to the field. It sucked but he always brought some sort of present home and in the eyes of a 7 y/o, it was totally worth it.

We're taking a big see the family road trip that'll take us all up and down the east coast and have a few friends that live in MD, so we'll be doing a combo of touristing and visiting. And 1 drink is just the beginning lol.

Going to the field is what soldiers do to keep up with their training. They go out to an isolated area for extended time periods, usually a month, and do their training and exercising.
