we have all the baby essentials now

picked up a infant car seat today.  the rest is just fun extras that we don't really NEED, I just like to have. 

now if only we had a name.  lol.

    Luckily we have DDs old carseat..we dont need anything except odds and ends..oh and clothes..but mostly odds and ends..hate those things..

    Diapers/soaps/shampoo gah..Need to go on a spree and get a bunch of stuff..

    But we had a name set! Before LO was even conceived.. wish that was the hard part!

    to be fair, i already had everything else.  i just needed a new car seat.  lol.  when your list of "have to have's" is only 1 item, it's easy to complete.

    Its much less fun this time, we don't need a thing. DS and this LO will be born in the same month, so even the clothes will be the correct season. I want to go splurge on something special for him. I am making 2 rooms this time, a big boy room for DS and a nursery for my new guy... we just moved, so we didn't get to do much with DS' room yet, and have decided to give him the bigger of the 2 rooms. The only big purchase we need to make is drywall for his walls!

    I only needed diapers, which I already bought, and now I'm done. It's a good thing, but I feel weird being ready. All I have to do is wash clothes and set up the pnp and we'll be ready for her. I wasn't ready until like 38 weeks last time.

    Nice!  We just recently decided that we're going to move in July, so I'm going to hold off on buying anything until then.  I already have enough baby gear to move as it is.  LOL

    Woohoo! We just need a car seat, and then we'll have essentials--basic clothes, full stash of CD's, co-sleeper, linens, baby's room furniture, wrap, and BF-ing supplies.  Can't wait for the showers to get the "wants" though :)
