rec toys for a 3 yo

So my little dude seems bored with a lot of the toys we have. I think we need some new stuff. He still loves the following:

train table

doctor / vet kits

dress up (need more costumes though)

construction trucks/ cars/ anything with wheels

airplanes

legos (duplo still)

kitchen (might need more foods/ pots)

and art stuff (but that's not really independent play)

    Puzzles, action figures, city rugs for his cars, books - especially the magnet books, play tools/workshop, playdough, playing dress up (knights in particular).
    Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

    ooh magnet books sound cool!

    I'm having trouble with action figure b/c most have weapons or shoot stuff and we aren't ready for that yet.
