ivf timeline question

What kind of monitoring happens with a frozen transfer?  What day of the cycle is the transfer typically done?  Our doctor is recommending we do an egg retrieval and genetic testing of embryos next cycle and then the transfer the following cycle.  We have a vacation scheduled during that time and I'm wondering if we should cancel it or wait another cycle.  TIA!!

    Well are you doing bcp first before either of your cycles?  They should be able to adjust your cycle to work around your vacation.  For me I would go in on cd3 and then 2 other times before the transfer usually...but that depends of course on how things are looking.

    They won't put me on bcp because I have a clotting disorder.  I have a general idea of how the egg retrieval cycle goes.  I'm just confused after that.  My nurse gave me literature but it confuses me.
