My chart doesn't match up (Chart stalk please)

I am so confused! I have been reading TCOYF and seeing that most charts should have 18 high temps to show pregnancy. (or atleast higher temps than my chart shows)

I tested at 10 dpo and 13 dpo with BFN ( dollar store tests)

I tested this am (17dpo) with FMU and got a VERY faint line. (dollar store test)

If this was a "real" BFP wouldn't my chart show otherwise?

Sorry about this ridiculous post, I am just confused-- I will pick up a digital test after work.

Your temps are still above the coverline, so I'm not sure why you are saying it doesn't match up. If you did the test correctly, then a line is a line - congrats!

Are you saying that you are checking your chart for a BFP based on temps and trusting that over a positive HPT??? I'm confused....

I am new to temping-- I was just under the impression that your temps should be higher if I was pregnant.

I would believe a +hpt over my chart -- I guess I am confused b/c the line was just SOO VERY faint.

If that were true, how would people be getting BFPs at 9DPO?

It doesn't matter how many high temps you have...if they are still elevated and you get a second line, it's a BFP.

I am also confused because your chart looks great to me! The only temp you have below the line in your LP is an open circle which means it was taken at a different time so I'd just throw that one out. Your temps are only being compared to your own temps so there isn't a BBT that you have to reach in order for you to know you are pregnant.

You could probably test with a dollar store test tomorrow and see a darker line is what I'd guess. As was said, it's pretty certain - a faint line is a line for pregnancy tests as the pregnancy hormone is ONLY there (even in small amounts) if you are pregnant. No need to buy a digital IMO. Congrats!!

I second (or third, forth?) the confusion. The temps on your chart right now ARE high temps, for you. Everyone has a different coverline in any given month. Congrats on your BFP.

I've always heard here that a line is a line even if it's faint

So it sounds like you're pregnant, I would pick up a digi just to be sure (for your own sake). Congrats

Your temps are above the coverline and you got a postivie HPT. Congrats, and enjoy 1st tri. If you're still questioning, test again tomorrow with a digi with FMU.
