Ladies on zofran or other meds for nausea/vomiting

Have any of you thrown up blood? I am on zofran because I have been so sick and it has helped a ton. I have still had a little bit of nausea and an occasional vomiting. I have done pretty good this weekend but just now was eating a sandwich and started gagging on the last bite. I puked a bunch and there was a lot of blood. I left a message with the on call dr but was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? TIA!

    I was on zofran from 6w to 15w and I had a tiny bit of blood once at the beginning, but I think it was because my throat was raw from getting sick so often. 

    I think you did the right thing calling and I hope it stops soon.

    You can cause tears in your esophagus from puking, definitely let your doctor know! Hope you feel better.

    I have had A LOT of puking.  Never had blood though.  Sounds terrible.  Sorry you have to go through that.

    Girl, I hate to break it to ya, but you shouldn't be puking blood, especially in large amounts.  I don't think that just putting a call into the on call doc is enough.  I think you need to get your tush to the ER or urgent care.  I hope things are fine, but vomiting blood is not normal and you NEED to get checked out.
