DD has developed a bad habit of throwing her sippy cup. She will take a sip or two until she is satisfied and then she launches it!!
It is really frustrating especially when we are eating out in public or she is in her stroller.
Not sure how to redirect this or teach her not to do this. Is is just a phase I have to endure? Have you had any success correcting this behavior? Please share. Thanks!

I hope it's something that they quickly grow out of!
This exactly. And I do the same with shaking the cups. Two chances then she loses the cup. LO throws her cups hard enough that she has cracked the plastic on insulated cups so it was getting expensive to replace them. I must admit though... that strap thing posted earlier made me giggle because it would make my LO extremely angry at not being able to throw her cup successfully. I'm seriously considering getting it just to see her reaction at why her cup didn't hit the ground...
Bar tab = $156,000, Bus to Foxwoods = $0, Puking in the Stanley Cup = Priceless
That's a good idea to model good behavior and praise when she does it! Thank you.
