help an out of towner - hospitals in scranton?
We are considering a vacation at Big Bass Lake. However, I'll be 31 weeks then with a possibly higher risk pregnancy. So I'm trying to find out what kind of maternity and NICU facilities are near there. The Mercy Hospital webpage didn't mention anything about NICU or ever Labor and Delivery.
Can anyone fill me in?

The only "baby" hospital in Scranton is Moses Taylor. There are two other hospitals in Scranton and they are within blocks of each other. (Mercy is two blocks down from Moses Taylor. I delivered at Moses, of course. CMC is up the road from Moses and has an emergency trauma center.)
Moses is wonderful. They have great birthing suites and a wonderful mother and baby maternity ward. The nurses and staff are all very sweet, kind and accomodating. (sp? It's late. sorry!)
They have amazing, sweet LCs, too! (Corrine aka Corey is my FAVE!!!)
