DD1 and DD2 went straight to their crib from day 1 and Im planning on doing the same with the twins... the nursery is right next to our room so might as well walk over there since I still have to get up and feed them and change them
PNP in our room for the first 6 weeks or so, (hopefully she will be sleeping 5-6 hour stretches by then) then I will feel better about moving her to the nursery.
If the house ain't burned down and the baby's fed it was a successful day.
Bassinet in our room for 2-3 months then crib in big sisters room if she's sleeping good stretches through the night. If not, PnP will get put up in our room when she's too big for the bassinet.

We'll probably do what we did with DS #1, which was bassinet for the first month and then moved him to his crib. He was SO friggin loud when he slept, I know DH and I slept better once he was in his crib.
He will be in the PnP next to our bed for the first few weeks, then to his crib in the room across the hall. I want to have him close at first and just felt it would be easier during night feedings.
Co-sleeping and then into his/her own crib at 6 months or so. If by some chance we get a great sleeper, maybe sooner. I cannot imagine traipsing all over the house at night for 2,3,4 feedings. Blech. My first was in her own room early on and it was a nightmare. Lots of walking! My second was in our room and we all slept through the night from day 1.
Re: POLL: Where will baby be sleeping at first??
In SO and my room for the 1st month or two and see how that goes before we move him to his crib in the nursery.
Bassinet next to my bed for at least a month or so.
Then co-sleeping.
Then crib around 6 months.
We will do the same thing we did with #1:
newborn - snugglenest
small infant - co sleeper bassinet
6ish months to 2 years - co sleeping in our bed
2 - big girl/or boy bed
