I thought we had decided on Conner Drew for our second child but DH is being all wishy washy on Conner and says that people keep saying that they don't like it. I don't think it should matter what the whole world thinks but is it a "bad" name? We want him to have the same initials as DH and now he is trying to think of another name that starts with "c" but we can't find a different one we both like. He likes Cash.. I do not...
Re: Conner?
Conner isn't my favorite name, but it's not bad either. I dislike Cash immensly. For other C names how about:
Colin/Collin
Cooper
Carter
Callum
Callan
You are right to dislike Cash--it is an awful name IMHO.
Conner is NMS, but very nice. I definitely don't think it's a bad name.
I love Carter but our friends just named their baby that. DH doesn't like Collin or Cooper and I don't really like the other two. Boy names are hard!
It isn't a bad name at all. Although I do prefer it spelled Connor.
Cash is pretty bad IMHO.
Connor greater than Cash.
I have a girl with the name Connor in my class (she is 18 and it is actually her MN but she goes by it) I always though it seemed soft. I personally would not use it but it is not offensive. I think of it on the lines of Liam and Declan
Three Girls: Bits 2/08 Biscuit 10/09 & Sweet Chuck 2/12
One Favorite son: Suishy Smalls 6/14
And another Princess coming 7/16
My 5 month old DS is Connor Patrick, so I obviously like it
. I don't care for the spelling Conner though. Connor or Conor are the more traditional ways to spell it. Connor is the most common way in the US.
Other C names: Calvin, Collin, Christopher, Callum, Carter, Caleb, Charles...
Married 6/28/03
