X agreed to sign the custody papers!

Back in March I had filed for sole legal and physical custody of DS. Part of the agreement is that CS will be paid through Maintenance Enforcement Program and he will have visitation as we agree. At first he flipped his sh*t simply because of the TERM Sole Custody-not what it actually meant. To recap, DS and I live 5 hours from X and when we do travel to the city, I make sure to make arrangements for DS to see him (as much as I don't like him).
Yesterday he called me to tell me that he is going to sign all the paperwork, send it back to my lawyer and we can be done with it all. That it isn't fair to put DS in the middle and that he just wants DS and I to be happy. I have no idea where it came from but wow-just wow. For the first time since I found out I was pregnant I feel like I can breathe. Like all the bad feelings i've had towards him have just faded away and I can REALLY start a new life.
I'm so happy and actually grateful that he agreed to this.

Congrats what a relief! If you're anything like me, it will be a little sigh now, and then a HUGE one once he actually does it and you have them signed, sealed and delivered!
