Situation is this: Good family friends, related by one marriage, have known the husband for 20 years, see them probably 1-2x/year, stay well connected to the wife through FB, email, etc. They're pg with baby #3, due 6 days after I'm due with baby #1. So, assuming everyone is born in order, your "daugher" will be named first. So, when you settle on something you don't love as much, and name your daughter your second choice name...
What happens when your friends have their daughter 6 days later and name her something COMPLETELY different than what they had discussed earlier?!?!
You will regret it for the rest of your life!! Just name her your favorite name!!
