None of us know the sex of our babies yet so what are you calling him/her? I didn't want to keep calling it "it" so DH and I have been calling the baby "peanut" until we know the sex. What have you been calling your little "it"?

We call ours Mavis, which is a combo of our boy and girl names. I love the looks of horror on people's faces when they think we're really naming our kid that
Peanut!! ... its funny though my husband thinks its funny to pretend that he likes the name Zeus for a boy so he keeps calling it that...but i dont find it too amusing. he has his brother and friends telling me Zeus is an awesome name. lol
I refer to him/her as Baby C, the baby or little one. DH refers to him/her as "Thing 1"...I think that's just as bad as saying "it". It's not a "thing".

Ha, I actually kinda like that name! Maybe because I just love Mavis Staples.
Ours is called the jellybean also. Also, I usually say "he" and my husband usually says "she", so we'll see who's right!
"The little English Bastard" (only when I was getting reallllly sick... DH is English); "The Bean", "The Bearn (my DH calls it this); "Ickle Lou (Tiny Lou); and "he" - first pronoun I think of when speaking about it... even though I think its a little girl... hmmm.

I'm real original and call him/her Baby or Bebe. On days I'm real tired or hungry or whatever due to the pregnancy. I say The Beast. Like, "I have to feed The Beast!" or "The Beast is taking over!" haha

Hahaha...DH is doing the same thing but using the name Xerxes. He keeps telling me thats what he wants to name the baby if its a boy. DH has also gotten friends joking around about it too saying they agree but when I told MIL she yelled at him. She said he no longer had a say in the baby's name - that it is all my decision now haha.

The DH calles "it" Baby. "Hi, Baby!" My mom wants to call it himher (pronounced himmer). Not sure what to call it. I like slow roast. LOL. Little turkey? Little bird? Gotta bring the Thanksgiving theme into it.
I don't know if it's because this is our second or what, but we honestly don't talk about the baby all that much. When we do, it usually has something to do with DS, like when he's being too rough & trying to jump on my stomach one of us will remind him that there's a baby in there. So I guess we've referred to it as "the baby", "mommy's baby" or "the baby in mommy's tummy". Not all that exciting. It is kind of strange to me that DH and I don't really talk about the new LO all that much. What we have discussed quite a lot is the birth center, what we liked/didn't like about how DS's birth went, that sort of thing and we've tossed around names a tiny bit, but I guess we are still very much absorbed in taking care of a crazy 3 yr old.
We call ours the fruit if the week so this week we are using Plumie and next week will be Peachy The best part is on Monday nights DH says bye to the current fruit because on Tuesdays my ticker changes

DH calls our baby "little turkey"...I used to, but I am moving away from that...don't like it so much now for some reason. I am saying, "the baby", "the babe", things like that.
I still can't bring myself to call our baby "baby Q" (Q for our last Initial), which is what we called our first baby that we lost in January. It's my favorite by far, but I just can't do it.

We're right there with you, we don't really talk about the baby. We don't even say anything to DD about it because we're not ready for her to repeat anything.
DD we called Hellboy because that's what she looked like in the first u/s picture.

We've been calling it Baby (last name) for a while. I can't wait until 6/29 when we find out the sex! I don't know how people can wait to find out! This is practically torture!
Re: Just for fun: Baby Nicknames
Aww...I like turkey for your little Thanksgiving baby
My aunt likes Thanksgiving babies. She has 2 boys born 3 years apart and both were born on Thanksgiving Day. How funny is that?!
