Trendy. Anna Lynn is not so bad, then she could opt to just go by Anna when she is in class with 10 other -lyn's.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

It is half my great grandmothers name and half my mom's middle name. We wanted to put them together and use Joy because Joy is after my grandmother who passed away 2 months ago.

Don't do this to Anna! Anna is a beautiful name and doesn't need someone to throw "Lynne" onto it. Anna Joy is a lovely name. Annalynne Joy looks awful and a little uneducated.
It makes me wonder if you're a huge fan of Annalynn McCord. I'm not even really sure who that is, but she's famous for something. (Lol, big help, I know!)
We're actually thinking of this name as well for our daughter, because it is my mother and my MIL's middle names combined (Ann, and Lynn). I like the name, but I don't like all the N's in it, so we can't decide how to spell it.
Here are the options I'm looking at: Annalynn Annelynn Annalyn or Annelyn
Does anyone have a preference on how it should be spelled? Annalynn or Annalynne seems to be the most popular spelling, but those are probably my least favorite. But there's also a lot of value in keeping both of the grandmother's mid names intact. Sigh... help, anyone?

Ehh.. it sounds like a verb. A dirty one.
Anna Lynn is nice, though.
I think it's too many N's....I don't personally like the name...but it doesn't sound as bad as some other put together names...
If you want to use it maybe spell it a little different...
Analynne???
How about Anna Joyelyn? I know an Anna Joy, and she's awesome.
Just a thought, but if you are planning on having more children, you may not want to give away all the female family names with the first one, KWIM?

::throws stuff at wall::
Stop adding lyn/lynn/lynne to everything! Anna Lynn = fine
Yes, I see the irony of being Brookelyn here on TB, but it's a nick name. I'd hate it if it were my given name. Way too cutesy for my taste.
