If you go to the beach with your LO...

What does baby need for a beach vacation? We're going for 2 weeks this summer and DS will be 7-8 months old. What kinds of things should I be looking for? (Besides bathing suits and sunscreen) =)

    We haven't gone yet, but will in May.  We'll bring a small tent and umbrella with us along with the obvious stuff (towels, sunscreen, etc.).

    Well i just spent the last 5 weeks in Florida and it was with a 4 month old.  We needed a small tent because they dont understand that sand doesnt taste good and that it hurts when it gets in your eyes. Also be careful when you put sunscreen on them. It can break them out really bad.  My baby would sit in the tent out of the sun but when she was done she let you know. Bringing a baby to the beach is most def different from when it was just you.

    a small tent and a small pool (both to keep him cool and the pool also in case he gets overwhelmed by the sea)

    towels, toys, a lot of water
