Mine is starting to poke out. I know I will take it out before the baby comes and leave it out. Its not uncomfortable yet, but I know it will be. Thoughts?

I heard they have flexible "rings" that you can use if you do not want it to close. I think since I have had mine for so long that it probably wont close - and I honestly dont care either way anymore. But if you are worried about that, look into those, I think they are made to wear during pregnancy.

I took mine out during my first pregnancy when I was about 3 months and it closed up by the time I delivered. I know people that have got the pregnancy rings and like them and aren't that expensive

I took mine out Sunday. I had to have dh do it because the thought of pulling it out made me queesy. The hole is weird looking to me, but oh well, it was starting to get uncomfortable with the stretching. I doubt it closes up, but if it does I dont really care.
When it starts looks ridicules. I may even keep it in depending on how it looks. I will consider getting a tiny bar bell just to decorate my little belly in some way unless my belly button pops and it just looks weird.
I am keeping mine in for as long as I can, until I get uncomfortable. It's been a part of me for around 8-9 years.
I have a pregnancy belly ring, but I pretty much decided there's no way I'm trying to keep my belly pierced with twins. I'll miss my little barbell, though... I feel like I look naked and tubbier without it lol.

I wore a pregnancy ring all the way until the end last time. My piercing isn't very deep though and by the time I was done, with all the stretching the piercing was shallow enough that I was nervous that keeping a ring in might result in tearing. So, now no ring for me.

And that's what happens when I try to post from my iPhone.
What I was going to say... I feel completely the same way! I took mine out a few weeks ago because the rhinestone fell out of the barbell. (I took it as a sign and didn't think that trying to fix it with super glue while still in was the best idea.) But I felt naked and tubbier for a while. I think I'm finally getting used to it.
Me too. Not only does it keep it from closing up, which I doubt mine ever will because I have had it for so long, but it keeps the hole from stretching strange ways.
my belly button hasn't started to stick out yet.. and for some women, it never does. i don't plan on taking mine out until i absolutely have to, and then i will get a pregnancy ring. i have olive skin, so my scars aren't pink, they're a light brown. so i'm trying to avoid a scar. plus, i've had it for 9 years and i think my belly looks weird without it. i asked my doctor about it and she said as long as it doesn't get infected or the skin doesn't get too thin with the regular ring in, i can keep it. i'll be buying a pregnancy ring though, just in case. they're pretty inexpensive, i think.. $10-20 maybe?
