NBR: Do I need to go to the doctor?

I have a sinus infection. It started on Saturday for sure but it might have started on Friday. Will it clear up on it's own or should I bite the bullet and go to the doc to get meds? I'd rather not take antibiotics again since I just stopped taking them last week for strep throat.

I've tried using the neti pot but it just freaks me out so I don't think I'm getting the full effect.

    If it's gone this long and you have green mucus, you most likely need to go to the doctor.  Once it's gone this long, it's probably not going to clear up on its own, at least in my experience.  Mine eventually turn into upper respiratory infections if I don't get on antibiotics pretty quickly (if the neti pot doesn't catch it early enough).
