My dd will be over two when the new baby arrives but I don't think she will be out of her crib at that point. To be honest I don't think I will be comfortable with her not having a monitor in her room still. We live in a larger two story house so I would feel better if both kids had a monitor in their rooms so I can still check on them. Currently, we are using the Summer's video monitor and it has another option to add another camera but how can you see both children at the same time? What do you do for your 2? TIA

What monitor do you have?
I have the Sleek and Secure, with 2 cameras. We have the option to look at both rooms at the same time, or it scans between them every 8 seconds.
This is what we're doing. We're going to move DD1 out of her crib over the summer, but we don't use a monitor for her now, so the video monitor for her is really going to be more to make sure she's going to sleep and not destroying her room.

We did this. Works like a charm!
this is the monitor we have, although DS2 isn't sleeping in the crib yet
