I 100% agree. Honestly, the pictures are beautiful and tastefully done but I think the picutes should be about celebrating the life created and not remind people of exactly how that life (or lives in her case) was/were created.

ETA: and though I think they're beautiful I want to point out that with that, their still NMS.

Some I like, some I don't. I actually took some topless with DH - however, I just got them back today - and I don't like them!! I thought I would but I don't. Maybe they are just bad angles or something but it suprised me how much I didn't like them when it was me in the picture..

Im sorry but with all the money she has im sure she could have paid for a better photographer. the poses are just all wrong. the first one looks like shes about to poop and in one of the others it looks like her man is breast feeding. Bad bad bad.......... Ofcourse thats just IMO I guess some people might like them

Um, wow! Most of them would be wonderful if they had clothes on. The final ones with him covering her boobs, just tasteless. Honestly, though, would you expect anything less from Mariah Carey?

I agree with some others, I think the photographer didn't do the poses/photos justice! Nude maternity photos CAN be very nice if they are done correctly. I do think the pics of him groping her were just to "soft core porn" for a maternity shoot. I personally love the idea of a boudoir or partially nude maternity shoot but it has to be done right for it to look good instead of looking like porn.

Those look super tacky and trashy.......and her being a celebrity doesn't save them and make them any less tacky.

I've seen some really gorgeous maternity shoots done, this is NOT one of them.

The ONLY one out of those I like (and still, I have things about it I'd definitely change) is the one that is all black/white on slide 3... Otherwise... yeah... I expected better from her. (I'm rather a fan of hers).

I think if they had kept them to themselves they are fine but if I was a celeb I wouldn't have chose these to share with the world.

I also think she looks like she's wearing a diaper in the first one.

I completely agree. You can do topless ones, but those look too sexual. I hate the bed one the most. It really looks like she's ready for sex, not happy she's pregnant. I'm not impressed with the photographer either.

This. The first thought I had was that if those were "regular" people and not celebrities in those pics they would end up on akwardfamilyphotos.com (the site most of those wacko maternity pics we laugh at came from). And the last one makes me cringe!

They are not bad however I prefer the daddy's hands on the tummy more than the boobs seems to me its just an excuse to grab them lol, would be if it was my DH.

otherwise they are ok but not the style I would go for

Dislike! Seriously the poses and lighting are all wrong. I have seen student work that is way better than that. Nude maternity photos can be done tastefully without having the overtly sexual tone that those had. I don't find them tasteful or artistic at all.

As a photographer, these do not even whisper beautiful. They verge on sexual. BOTH are naked? The lighting is WAY off. The posing is HORRIBLE. And for the money they probably spent on these, they scream AWFULLY tacky!
