strange co-workers

I will liven things up today.

My co-worker is a hypochondriac. Today she has a Kleenex stuffed up her nose because someone is wearing perfume. she is the first person everyone sees as they walk down the stairs. it is quite comical. she is ridiculous.

I have so so many weird co-workers. There is the guy downstairs who has the most amazing rat-tail I have ever seen. Seriously the thing goes half way down his back, I wish I could cut it off b/c it bugs the crap out of me.

There is the guy who flips out at any sign of something going wrong. I literally can not talk to him if he is even two minutes behind schedule. And when things go really wrong he is known to jump up and down, scream, and basically throw a temper tantrum.

I could go on and on.

That would drive me insane!!

I work with a few chronic plate-watchers that have to examine everything you eat and give a sneer if they think it's too much or too fattening. That drives me nuts!

I work with a girl that is from Long Island and speaks with a British accent. She walks around and sings out loud, like Whitney Houston, and is so bad. She also has a fake laugh that I believe she thinks is "musical." She's not strange, but she is really annoying.

My favorite strange person has a waxed long moustache. It's about 8 inches long on each side. Love!

Ewwww! A kleenex up the nose at work?

At my office, you're not allowed to wear perfume or scented lotion OR have flowers delivered to you. If you heat up food in the microwave that leaves ANY sort of smell afterwards, you get made fun of. You're also not allowed to microwave popcorn. This is all to accommodate the owner who actually comes into the office maybe 10 hours/week (and you never know when).

I have (and have had) lots of crazy co-workers.

Two that no longer work in my office...

Man 1: Only ate chicken fingers, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, steak, Hungry Howie's pizza, grilled pork chops, McDonald's french fries and chocolate milk shakes. No lie. That is IT. For lunch he'd get a WHOLE pizza from Hungry Howie's, eat it all and then get a 48oz (!) chocolate milkshake for "dessert". He also complained about having to do any work at all, always threw around the line "that's not in my job description" and he also threw temper tantrums if he had to do something that he didn't think was his responsibility.

Man 2: I honestly can't even get into all of the things he did because they were so, so sick and wrong. Let's just say one had to do with an attempt to try to contact the grieving mother of a murdered teenager because *he* believed the murder was a hate crime. Indifferent And not only did he contact the mother (or attempt to contact her) but he contacted every media outlet in the area, the university President, churches, the police, he tried to attempt the FBI!

One of my current co-workers has a pharmacy under her desk and literally pops Lortabs all day long.

Another one of my co-workers HATES the south, hates the heat..freaks out if it gets over 50 degrees (which is 360 days out of the year in Alabama) but said she wants to quit her office job to find a job working outdoors...?

In sales, you would think you "should" be normal.

We have "Shutter Island" who we think has bodies burried in his basement. "Wenis" who is a huge winpy d!ck. He is afraid of heights, and won't sit by a window in an elevated room. Hello...we travel all of the time and stay in hotels.

Ahhh i could go on....

We have a woman who has a rare disease and she is in some medical journal. She sits on ice bags all day and walks around with her shoes off showing people her sores and swollen body parts. Ick! She has 3 fans blowing on her at all times. She carries an umbrella in the sun and when the maintenence people accidentally put a flourescent lightbulb above her desh she used it inside,too.

She is an old hippie and has these really unbelievable stories about sleeping around and all the drinking and drugs she did. She is a terrible gossip and really says what she thinks. She told me my hair isn't blond enough and some other girl that she talks to much. But she is sweet, too. She makes people jewelry and brings us all little things on the holidays. She brings me her ET Weekly and Rolling Stone when she is done reading them, too.

Such a character......
