Vacation While Prego..Who's Going!

I live overseas.

Haha, but no I won't be traveling across the Atlantic or making any other LONG trips for vacation while pregnant. We are planning to fly to Paris or London sometime this summer, but it's not fully planned yet.

I see no reason to deny myself a vacation when pregnant. Besides, I can't wait to sport that baby bump on the beach or by the pool!

We already took our annual vacation this year. We left two days after we found out we were pregnant. We spent 12 days in Hawaii (7 in Oahu, 5 in Maui). I don't think we are going anywhere else because I used most of my vacation time for the year up already and Hawaii was $$$. We are starting to think about next summer though!

We spent 2 weeks in Hawaii just before getting pregnant, so no more major vacations for us this year. We are spending a long weekend in Key West visiting family in June and we'll do lots of local camping trips, definitely a weekend in Crested Butte, maybe a long weekend in Wyoming (DH has family there) and possibly a trip to Moab for the 24hr mountain bike race. I'm not sure if I'll make it to that one as it's the second weekend in October (~34wks). We'll see what the midwives say.

We're taking a 12-hour (each way) road trip to Missouri this summer to visit a bunch of DH's family for what's turning out to be a family reunion. I'll be 22-ish weeks I think.

I'm hoping things continue well with the pregnancy, but in the back of my mind, the slight issues I'm having with my placenta (it's slightly pulled away) makes me really nervous...and all the bathroom stop that I'll need to make on the way there.

Provided I get the all clear from the OB I will be travelling to NC in September for a wedding. I called the bride and told her and also warned her that I was not spending all that money on a maternity bathing suit so I would be letting that baby belly hang out on the beach.

We are taking our first cruise to the Bahamas in about 6 weeks! Will be out at sea for a week. SO excited!

We are going to go to France (if my husband gets sent for work) and then we will travel to Greece from there. It will be middle of June and I will just be in the 2nd trimester. I will get approval from my dr. first before booking, though.

I am going to Thailand and Cambodia at around 15 weeks . The trips were planned before I knew I was ku. Also I need a holiday super bad so there is no way I am not going . My Dr said it was fine and enjoy just make sure you get travel insurance .

Our 5th anniversary is in August, so we'll definitely do something big then. I'm not sure where we will go - probably somewhere in the Caribbean. I'm open to Europe, but that's always such an active vacation between seeing sites and traveling within the countries, I'd rather do something relaxing.
