Sending thoughts and prayers your way MollyBloom. I'm hoping your doctors urgency is more about wanting to be proved wrong quickly so you don't have to play the "what if" game for too long.
I'm so sorry for scary news....and a doctor with horrible bedside manner!!! I hope that it is nothing and the additional testing brings you great news. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!

Molly, I'm so sorry you have to go through all this stress. And I'm so sorry you don't have a dr who is more supportive through this process. As PP have stated, we are here for you and thinking of you. GL and keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you!
I am so sorry to hear about your u/s results. This is a not a definitive diagnosis yet so hang in there and stay strong for the little one. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I/We are here if you need to chat....
I'm so sorry for the news, sounds like it wasn't delivered in the best manner. I hope that further tests give you more conclusive answers, you'll be in my thoughts...

I'm sorry to hear you have to go through this. Your doctor really should have given you more info. I would try not to let the urgency scare you. I know some people are told to wait, but after my anatomy scan I had to go for a level 2 u/s at a high risk place due a soft marker and 2 vessel cord, and that office wants to see you before the end of the 20th week. That may be the case with the high risk office your doctor uses; they like to follow-up by a certain week and you are almost to it. I think they can also be tough to get in to. T&Ps!
I know nobody want to go to a high risk office. but when I got sent to the maternal/fetal medicine specialist, i realized that in some ways I'd lucked out. you get to go back in for ultrasounds a LOT- sometimes like once a month! It can be nerve wracking, but but comforting too. Plus the doctors there are WAY nicer. They are trained to deal with stressed out pregnant women and their bedside manner is usually super. They are informed people who don't BS you- they tell you the truth and answer EVERY question. My specialist never rushed out the room. While he was with me, it was like i was the only patient in the office. Hang in there hon. You'll have real answers soon. Meantime (I know this sounds like bull but it helps) try not to dwell or God forbid- don't google too much about your LOs potential complication. Googling only ends in tears. Stay active and surround yourself with positive people who give you support. You can do this!!!
Oh Molly I am so sorry! I will definitely keep you guys in my prayers. Hopefully the Dr. is just being extra cautious with wanting to get you in the HR visit so soon. Big hugs to you!
