Hi Ladies-
I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on this. I had a job interview today and got the job (it's P/T) but didn't tell them I was pregnant. I feel a little bad lying by omission but I really needed the job. When would you tell them?

GL!!
I agree with the pp. You do not need to tell them until you get an offer. Now that you accepted the offer, definitely let them know. Of course your maternity leave will be unpaid, but at least they can prepare for your time off.
Congrats on the new job!
Thanks for all the advice, ladies. As it is part time I figure a few weeks off for the birth wouldn't be that big of a deal, and it is after their "busy time" of graduations and 4th of July parties. I'll let them know on Friday at my orientation.
And I may have strategically dressed to downplay my bump.
Like some others have said, you don't need to tell them. I interviewed when I was about 20 weeks along and only planned on telling them once an offer was on the table. Basically, if they had called and offered me the job, I would tell them during that conversation. I didn't want to leave my current job without them already knowing and being okay with my maternity leave, etc.
I'm also surprised you were still able to hide it! They may have known, and just not said anything...since they legally can't.
