I need to do one in the next few weeks. I'm in my sisters wedding June 5th and I'm very pasty white
Same! I have a wedding on May 28th and I'm pretty much see through.
What kind are you going to use? I've never used one before, do they rub off on your clothes when you sweat? It's an outdoor wedding in MD in June, I'm sure it'll be scorching hot.

I've used the Jergens Natural Glow, it's a body lotion that has a little tint to it. That way the tan builds gradually and if you miss a spot one day it won't be streaky. Just make sure to apply as evenly as possible, and wash your hands after (or else they get orange). Let the lotion dry before getting dressed and it shouldn't rub off on your clothes. My only issue with self tanners are that they tend to fade in spots and that's not pretty...so I'd apply up to the day of or before your event.

I've been using the Jergens too, but just know that you have to use it everyday for several days or even a week before it actually gives you a "tan". It's so gradual, which is good, but it's not something you can just use the day before and have color.
I'm trying to get some sun on the weekends as much as I can before our beach trip in a month, but if that doesn't work, I'm going to get a spray tan I think.
HAHA. I was paranoid about these, but my OB laughes at me when I ask him about hair-dye, nails, and tanning...
I am using the Jergens natural glow... and feel like I've been at the beach for days.. my skin is glowing and a lovely color... so glad I got over the paranioa and am enjoying a tan!
