Enatai Beach Park?

Has anyone been there?  I'm thinking of reserving it for G's birthday party in August.  Would it be a good place for a 2nd birthday? 

It says that there are picnic tables and a patio that overlooks the beach, but I can't tell from the tiny picture on the website where the tables are in relation to the patio and the water.  Does anyone know?  I'm hoping they are close to the beach so that the kids can go in the water if it's nice out.  I don't want to reserve it if the tables are too far away.

    We go all the time and I can't remember where the tables are, honestly!  I do love the beach there though and love picnics under the bridge.  From where we would picnic, we can see the water but not the beach

    Have you looked at Meydenbaur park?  It is smaller and less traveled but does have a playground and bathrooms and a great beach.

    If I remember correctly, it's not super close to the water - like it's up and back from the beach... But I haven't been there in years.  You should do a drive by this week!

    We go there all the time too but I don't think it would be a good birthday place.  There are 2 docks that go out in the water on each side of the park that doesn't have any rails or anything so I always have to watch cruz like a hawk because it scares the heck out of me.  I love the park but ack it would freak me out to have a bunch of little kids there.
