Hello Ladies, I'm 11 weeks today (first bebe!) and for about a week now I have been "showing". I know the uterus is still low down in the pelvis so all that's really showing is my extreme bloating and weight gain. Kinda depressing to think of it that way... :P
Also, more tired than I've ever been in my life. I feel like I have the flu! I don't know how I'd ever do it if I already had a child to take care of!
Anyone else feeling this way???
Re: when did ya'll start to show?
I didn't show (and I consider showing when strangers can tell I'm pregnant) until I was about 18 weeks with DD.
I'm almost 13 weeks with baby #2 and even people close to me can't really see a difference. I, of course, notice a slight difference, but it's not much at all right now.
ETA: The exhaustion should let up a bit in 2nd tri. I felt my best in 2nd tri with DD, and then got tired again in the 3rd.
Hey - I'm tired too and it hasn't let up ~ I'll let you know when I'm not crashing for an after work nap (usually 1.5 -2 hours) and then going to bed before 11 (that's early for me!)
As for showing... geesh. Between the bloat and my now growing tummy I've been 'showing' for a while now. Although most strangers probably just assume I've been skipping on crunches & enjoying more Easter candy than usual. For instance... I told my mother about our pregnancy last night and she of course said 'she knew it' because when I had visited her a few weeks ago(I was around 9-10 weeks along during the time) she said she noticed a small belly.
My whole life (even a couple months after delivering my Jane in Oct last year) I've never walked around with a tummy --- so its a big give away.
I think for me its a combination of bloating and a bit of weight gain, although at my 10 week appt I was the same as at my 7 week appt. My husband makes fun of me b/c I am very petite and just getting constipated (which I have chronically) gives me a bit of a belly that goes away promptly when that constipation is relieved. :P In addition I've been nauseated and instead of losing weight from puking, I've only been able to eat truly delicious things like pizza, bagels and cream cheese...and normally I am a healthy person but looking at veggies makes me want to hurl!
Another question - what do "DD", DS, and DH mean?
Also, How do you guys get all the baby info at the bottom of your posts???
DD=Darling (or Dear) Daughter, DS= Darling Son, DH= Darling Husband

I didn't really start showing with DS until sometime in the 2nd tri. (I started wearing maternity clothes around 15wks, I think.) This time, I've been wearing maternity clothes since about 7-8wks and I think I'm showing...enough that I just told my boss because I'm afraid it's getting pretty obvious. I'll be 10wks tomorrow. Here are some pics from last time:
Thanks for posting your weekly pics, Cheri! That's really helpful!
I was pretty bloated, then it sank around week 10-11, now it's back and combined with the start of flab and guts getting moved around. I think I just look chubby for now. I tried maternity clothes the other day, but most of the shirts look ridiculous on me and the pants slide down really easily.
This was me at 11 weeks:
Over the past week it's gotten harder and when I lay on my stomach it feels like I am laying on a beach ball. It also doesn't change throughout the day and I am solely in maternity pants now.
I am sure there is still some bloat involved, but according to the women with children in my family over Easter, there is no doubt that at least some of it is baby.
My OB also confirmed that my uterus also sits much higher than the average woman's so at 9 weeks she told me that I might start showing sooner rather than later.
Who knows for sure, but this is what it still looks like at 12+ weeks.
I have a belly. In the morning it starts out soft, but by the evening it is firm. I also don't have much of a torso being 5' tall. In the begining I thought it was just pudge from being a bit overweight, but its more rounded now at almost 13 weeks. I think it's different for everyone since no one is built the same.
I am 11 weeks and 5 days...My belly looks more like a full stomach after eating a hole bolw of rice than a pregnat belly....jijijijiji
is funny thought i know some little one is around there....and is even more funny since i dont have any syntoms.....defenetly a full stomach of rice belly here!

People that really know me have noticed changes in my body (particularly my boobs which seemed to just explode about 3 or 4 weeks ago - one of my co-workers (who knew I was preggers) even mentioned that if she didn't know she'd think that I had a boob job - the change was ridiculously rapid).
I notice my belly - but I can tell it's really bloat/"food baby" than real baby. I've never had problems with constipation but ya... that is definitely happening now, which obviously adds to the bloat.
Sigh. Both times it's been pretty obvious I was pregnant starting really early (like 8 weeks or so). All bloat, but it just transitions to "showing". The bloat goes down, uterus moves up.
Looking PG really early like that probably just means I have really weak abs. Pretty depressing considering how much time I devote to exercise.

I'm showing apparently because yesterday a woman on the metro pointed at my belly and asked if I wanted her seat! I was so surprised that I took a photo later that night and compared it to the week before. It's like a belly just popped up out of nowhere! I know part of it is fat, but the lower part is hard.
I'm glad I'm starting to show already. I can't wait for my baby bump!
THANKS!!
Very neat! Thanks!! Wow even at 22 weeks you were hardly showing!
