Pregnancy support group?

I appreciate these boards -- however, as a 38 yo with a first pregnancy (that is sticking anyway) I would really like to meet other women with similar experiences and also recent new moms for support and friendship... does anyone know of pregnancy support groups or something like that ?  I live in the Odenton area, but Annapolis, Bowie, Laurel, or Columbia aren't that far either....

I just have so many fears, anxieties, questions, etc.

    There is a forum called Club 35 on baltimoremommies.com. I'm not a member of Club 35, so I can't really speak as to its usefulness, etc., but you can check it out.

    Have you checked with your hospital or OB to see if they know of any support groups?

    Congratulations btw and good luck with your pregnancy.

    There is the AA Co Birthing Circle.  I enjoyed going there as well as LLL meetings when I was pregnant.  (And the LLL for No. AA Co is fabulous.  There is a mtg this Monday night at 6pm at BWMC in the Tate Building).
