BG bamboo fitteds?

There's only 1 review on the spread sheet - anyone else with any input? I know they're discontinued, but in the sale section of Cotton Babies.

  • I like the XS for newborns.  They are soft, go on quickly, and are absorbent.  I haven't used any other sizes though.

  • I bought some when they went on sale at cotton babies and she was already in a small. She's wearing smalls and mediums right now and I love them so much I went back and bought some xs for our next (not even planned yet) baby. They are very soft, and fairly absorbent. That said, I probably won't get any larges because she already needs a booster or they get soaked quickly. So better for a smaller baby.
  • They didn't come back on the site until Max was in Smalls. They're great for smaller babies, but not really absorbent enough for him anymore, even though they still fit. He is a heavy wetter though. I would have loved to have XS ones for the newborn phase.

  • These have been one of my favorite fitteds for the newborn stage.  We have 6 xs and they're so easy to use because of the velcro and super soft.  The absorbency has been pretty good but it probably won't be when DD is  older.

I do remember having some mediums when DS was about 6 months and I liked them also.

It looks like they only have mediums available. Hmmmm...

  • I loved the XS, but like most others said past the newborn phase they weren't absorbant enough for us.  I had 3 smalls but found I rarely used them because he fit into his OS dipes by then.

  • I bought some of them used in size small and started using them when DS was about 3 weeks. They are easy to put on and so soft, but like everybody else said they really aren't absorbent enough past the size small stage. We still use them occasionally but only with a doubler laid in otherwise he soaks through them really quickly.

  • I loved them for the nb stage but have heard they aren't absorbent enough for older babies.
