Confused? 2 yolk sacks, no baby?

So.. I got my 2nd sonagram today..and there's 2 yolk sacks and no baby?! My uterus is tilted...so I heard that maybe that's why I'm running into this issue. I have NO clue how far along I am & I went to a clinic to see this--NOT my real doctor. My real first prenantal appt in May 3rd. Has anyone had this issue? I't super confusing. The sack is double the size from 2 weeks ago? So confused, but still at peace. I trust God.

If you saw a sac two weeks ago, and then still just a sac today, then, I am sorry to be the one to type this out, but that's not quite stellar news. I hope that your tilted uterus has something to do with that, but your next appointment should provide you with more information. Can you at least ballpark your LMP to try and figure out how far along you might be...like maybe a 1-2 week span? Thoughts and prayers are with you.

All of this. This sounds very similar to my blighted ovum diagnosis last May. ((((hugs))))

I've had 4 ultrasounds so far that show my babies progression:

1. 4 wks 3 days= they didn't even see a sac

2. 5 wks 3 days= there was a sac measuring 6 wks with only a yolk sac inside, no fetal pole yet. This made me really nervous.

3. 6 wks 3 days=a sac with a yolk sac and an embryo whose hb was able to be seen but too small for the machine to pick up so we couldn't hear it.

4. 8 wks=baby with hb of 169 and we were able to hear it!

I just wanted to add that I googled blighted ovum after reading the pp and a true blighted ovum would not have a yolk sac! T & P's that it's too early to see baby or its hiding in your tilted uterus...

Anyway, I went back a little over a week later (eight weeks) and there were two babies with good heart beats. There is a chance it was just too early!

You just made my day. I went in for my first u/s on Wednesday and found two sacs, one with a hb and one w/o, measuring 6w2d. My OB suggested that I may miscarry twin B and scheduled another u/s for next week. I had no pregnancy symptoms (besides exhaustion and a positive hpt) and no bleeding. Since Wednesday, my appetite has doubled and I've had some uterine cramping (familiar from previous pg). Keeping my fingers crossed.
