All the embryos (11!) are almost to the Blast stage. The Dr. said they are "compacted". Because they are doing so well, they want to transfer 1. I am okay with that, b/c all I want is a healthy, happy baby and multiples can have problems. BUT DH isn't so happy with that and neither is my mom. Both want 2 transferred. I had the Dr call DH and talk to him about it, b/c really HE is the one that wants 2 transplanted. If we end up freezing 10 embryos that is fine, we can FET for our #2.

So exciting!!! So glad that the embies are all growing so well!!
Ultimately, you have to be okay with your decision and the outcome, you can't do something you will regret. YH's opinion matters of course, but you are the one who has to experience everything, so I think that carries a little more weight.

2 years of TTC, Seeing RE Feb 09, 2 medicated TI cycles - BFNs, 3 medicated IUIs - BFNs, back to medicated TI cycles until IVF approval, IVF approved in March 2010. BFP on last medicated TI cycle.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle!

We had great results with our IVF too, which was really surprising considering the crappy results of our IUI's, which is why our RE suggested only 1 embryo too. In the end, i'm glad we did listen to the doc, since a) it worked, and b)multiples are soooo hard on the body.
I know it's a hard decision, but it sounds like your doctor is making the right choice for you. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. Take it easy, and i'll be keeping everything crossed for you! Big hugs!!
