M-PLUG? FYI details maybe TMI?!

So today is my due date - yeah! Wouldnt it be great to go today!!!

3 wks ago I was having very mild but reg contractions for about 3 hrs ... went in had a 2nd internal that week and made some progress from 0 to 1 and 50%. Anyway that day and the next I had spotting with some small solid stuff - so I assumed that this was my plug coming out.

On Wed of this week I had another internal (pretty agressive one LOL) and the same spotting and solid stuff.

Today I wiped and found a clear long booger like glob - about 1.25 inches accross the paper ... this must be the MP right?

    I haven't lost mine yet, but from what my dr.s have told me, that's what a mp sounds like.

    The two times before sound like spotting from your internal.  I had the same.  I was also initially confused b/c it was globby, but it became clear to me that it was from the Doc, not my actual mp.  Still waiting for that.  Due Sunday.

    Do a google image search for mucous plug and you will see a pic of what it looks like.

    MP could be any range of colors...so it could quite possibly be even more of it.

    That's what it is.  I lost mine with DD about 5 days before my water broke. They can regenerate though.

    Oh, and I had my daughter on her due date too!
