Obviously, pics with Santa goes years and years back. But only in the past few years have I noticed malls doing photos with the Easter Bunny. Personally, I have yet to see an Easter Bunny that didn't give me the heebee jeebees. Probably because I don't like clowns and it reminds me of that for some reason. Are pics with a Turkey next?

omg I could not agree more. at least with santa you can see the man's face. the easter bunny thing creeps me out.. not only do you have NO clue who is under there but I think most of the bunny costumes, themselves, are creepy looking.
I can sorta see why people do it, but it is NOT for us.
ha ha ha...you must be seeing the Donnie Darko bunny then!
Well I took pictures with the Easter Bunny in the 80's and ever since I can recall the Easter Bunny has been around the malls in this area. I bet if you get a turkey costume and rent a concession stand in the mall you'd make some good money doing that. You'd have cash for the holidays!
Great movie!
I love it too!
I love that movie! I remember when I was about 4 years old the Easter bunny came to my daycare. I had such an awful nightmare about the Easter bunny that night. He was trying to eat me or something.
this is exactly what i was thinking lol all the bunnies in the photos with everyones LO's have scared the crap out of me.
Yup, I have pictures of me and my siblings with the Easter Bunny and that was probably 30 years ago. It's not new but clearly it's not as popular as Santa. Agree that the Easter Bunny is crazy looking - ours was a female with glasses! But...I still got his pics taken with it
I'm in my 30s and my mom has pictures of me with the EB. I wouldn't take DS out to get pictures with the EB, but his daycare had a photographer come in, so I did opt to buy those. Not so much for me, but because my mom and mil will really like having them. It was $20 and we got 4 photos, one for us, each set of g'rents, and the great-g'rents.
Plus, I regret not paying for newborn photos - I originally thought they were a waste of money and now I wish I had some - so I don't want to regret not getting other photos.

Yeah my Godson is 15 and I still recall taking him as a baby.
LOL. I don't think it's a new thing, but I do agree that most of them are super creepy looking. I have an issue with people in costumes in general. It just freaks me out like no other. And I don't like clowns either.
