I did, but I have no idea if it's normal or not. This was my first cycle too. I had really sharp pains on both ovaries, and a dull aching kind of pain in my pelvis.

GL, I hope you find relief soon.

This is my second cycle, but the above is pretty much exactly what I experienced the first time around. This cycle, the sharp pains are a little less sharp and the dull aching doesn't last anywhere near as long as it did the first cycle. I have yet to O this cycle, though, where as the first cycle I O'd 10 days after the last pill, so I'm guessing that mine was just ovulation pain.

  • This is my second cycle on clomid.  I get a lot of dull cramps throughout with a lot of bloating.  During the time of o last cycle, I had severe cramping.  This is when I got the IUI.  My RE said the cramping was completely normal and gave me some dr terminology to explain it which I can not repeat for the life of me.  Good luck with you cycle!

  • This is normal for me the day I ovulate.  I usually have to take a Motrin.  I think the more follies I have, the more painful it is.  Will you be having a monitoring u/s?  Hopefully you didn't hyperstimulate or have a cyst.

  • With my first Clomid cycle I had mild cramping throughout the cycle until I got AF. This time around I had major cramping on my left side. When I went for monitoring I had no activity on the right and two large follies (27 and 28) on the left and b/w showed that my body was ready to ovulate. I did the IUI the next day and the day after the cramping pretty much went away. So I just pretty much associate my cramping with the size of the follies and how close I am to ovulation.

  • I had a lot of cramping or pinching sensations in the ovary/uterus area.  But I'm not sure if it was from clomid or metformin.  On this last cycle (no metformin), I didn't have any cramps or pinching.  So no clue....

  • My first cycle on clomid I had tons of o pain/cramping.  I had to take pain meds and use a heating pad.  AF at the end of that cycle was also the worst ever, so painful I had to take Vicodin and the heating pad was pretty much attached to me.  Hopefully the clomid will work and you don't have to worry about getting AF.
