What to bring in my bag??

I know I want to bring my own night gown for after I have the baby, and clothes to go home in and a few shower things, but I am wondering if I should bring any make up with me.  Will I use it, will I even care what I look like? Did anyone else bring any make up with them in their bag?

    I know someone who made her husband go home and get her makeup because she forgot it.  Pushing caused her face to get all red and blouchy and it didn't go away for a day or two.  While family was visiting and taking tons of pictures she wanted to look as normal as possible.

    I'm totally bringing makeup.  Even if I thought I wouldn't care about what I look like...it would be nice to have instead of not having it.  I'm not bringing ALL of my makeup...just a few pieces (powder, mascara, blush, concealer, one/two eye shadows).

    I plan on bringing makeup... I want to feel my best and I know a lot of my family will be taking pictures of me and baby.  It takes me less than 5 minutes to put on the bare essentials.

    Thanks ladies!! I think I will bring the bare essentials, you made a good point about have a ton of pics taken, I dont want to look all gross. And even if I dont use them its better to have them than not to have them.

    I think I'll likely just bring some mineral powder and lip tint. I don't mind pictures being taken, but I'd at least like my skin tone to look even!

    I have: two outfits, a bra, socks, travel size toiletries, hair stuff (they have a hair dryer at my hospital)...I did bring makeup last time, but i only put on a bit of foundation and powder the day we went home. I doubt I will bring any this time..lol.
