  • Wow~ What great nappers!  Elaina is a nap fighter.  Ours looks more like-

    Up at 730.

    Nap 10-10:30.

Nap 1-2:30 (sometimes longer but not usually)

A quick nod in the evening but nothing measurable.  Bed at 930.

How is your 7 month old able to stay awake from 230pm till 930pm, that is a long stretch without sleep?

  • My 7 month old wants to know what is this thing you call a nap and why any baby would ever want to take one.  I can trick him into two to three 30 minute naps a day, usually mid-morning, early-afternoon, and late afternoon.  He does the bulk of his sleeping at night.

  • I have tried to explain to her that it is too long for her to be awake in the afternoon/evening but she just doesnt listen :)

The quick 5-10 min recharge she gets in the evening seems to be enough for her.  I get no sympathy from nmy mother.  Apparently I was the same way!

  • He still fights naps, but we try to get 3 in a day. He's also a cat napper, so it's usually 30 minutes

    wake up: 6:30

nap: 9ish (sometimes I try to get him to take a quick nap before going to DC at 8:30)

    nap: 11 or 12

    nap: 3:30-4ish

This doesn't always happen, but we try not to let him go more than 3 hours before at least putting him in the crib to have quiet time if not a complete nap
