Welcome to this week's Chicago Bump Check-in!
If you want to be added to the check-in, please respond to this post and let me know what brings you to the bump (Do you have a DC? DD or DS? Date of DC's birthday? Are you pregnant (how far along) or TTC?), whether you live in the city or burbs (give me a direction: N, NW, W, SW, S).
Also, pregnant ladies: keep me updated if you move from team green to pink or blue! And let us know when your LOs arrive! We have a due date that passed and some coming up soon!
And finally, some shout outs, hugs, etc.:
Also, it looks like a lot of you will be finding out which team you'll be joining soon, should you choose to not be Team Green!

Re: :: Chicago Weekly Check-In ::
so what is your favorite comfort food, your go to food if your having a bad day, or your favorite sweet treat?
Well it changes...right now I'm enjoying a piece of confetti cake Anything that has to do with chocolate usually helps my sweet tooth. If I can't find anything that sounds good to eat, I usually turn to mac-n-cheese. I always make sure we're stocked up on it!
I would love to be added if you don't mind. I am almost 8w with my first child. My husband and I currently live in the south suburbs but trying to close on a condo in the city (Lincoln Square). I have a due date of 12/1/2011
My favorite comfort food is chocolate cake - yum!
ETA: Due date
Please add me! Mini_Mariah, DD 7/6/08, DS 5/24/10 La Grange
My favorite comfort food is definitely chili - my DH makes the yummiest chili!!!
(gluten free) mac and cheese - yum
or rice loaded with salt and butter
Three words:
Sweet Mandy B's
I've got sweets on the brain, as I gave them up for lent. Otherwise I might have answered with Chicken Chili - mmmmmm.
I am officially team blue!
My fav comfort food is always buttered noodle, but when the weather is chilly, it calls for chili!
Right now my fav sweet treat is the reese's PB egg, yummm
I had my first internal check at 37 weeks and I'm 1cm dilated, 75% effaced and in a 0 station. I know this has no real meaning of when I'll go in labor, but I was excited to hear I made some progress - I've been having pretty constant BH for the past few weeks.
As for comfort foods, mashed potatoes, so delicious.
i want to be added!!!
i'm due 5/17 (girl!) and live in South Loop

nick&heather, LO due 10/07/11, south suburbs (lansing)
My comfort food is definitely baked potato! Baked red potato with butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder, maybe sour cream, yumm. Baked potatos got me through the first trimester!
A big bowl of spaghetti with ragu sauce. Follow that up with vanilla ice cream and melted peanut butter and I'm pretty happy
