Kicking legs and flailing arms while nursing...

DD has always done this! It's like a wild circus act! Am I alone?! I pin one arm between my arm and back, and the other one does this constant flail. I kind of brace her swat with my hand so she doesn't smack her own belly/leg continuously while eating, lol. It ends up being her slapping my hand over and over again. Do I just have a major fidget?? She comes on and off constantly too.

  • You are not alone.  DS is a crazy acrobat and has been since the beginning.  Since he unlatches so much to look around, NIP is a real treat.

  • DD does the same thing. She'll squirm and pull away with my nipple still in her mouth! I was told it could be a fast or slow letdown issue, but I still am not 100% sure.

  • My baby seems to do this when she's really tired.  It's crazy!

  • Yeah mine does this too... she'll flail arms, kick and bobble her head around. Even when she does finally latch, her hands have to be by her mouth.
