in TTC After a Loss

just saying hi to everyone, and hoping that y'all are having a great Tuesday! today is actually going pretty well (better then the weekend and yesterday, that's for sure). my computer took a big crap at work today, so i had to sneak down here to our training room to get some work done (and catch up with my bumps ladies! lol) while they are working on it.

 

any plans for the week/weekend?

    Hi! Plans for the weekend...

    Well, DH asked me if I was ready to have people over for dinner. So, now I am planning a bigger Easter supper than I had thought. I'm making a big grilled tri tip, with corn bread, homemade ranch style beans, and salsa today. The leftovers should get us through the week, so I can concentrate on cleaning house and doing early prep work for Easter dinner.

    What about you? 

    well, my plans for this weekend are friday we have to take about an hour trip away to get the DH's truck fixed up abit on friday. sunday during the day we are heading over to Mammoth California to go snowboarding and watch the pond skim during the day (I don't know how much snowboarding i'll be doing, i usually have more fun on the patio drinking bloody mary's lol). later on the in the evening, we're going to have a ham for Easter and some friends.

    i wish that was all i had to do! i need to catch up on my cleaning. mon-thurs i get behind on it cause after i get done working my 10 hour days, i'm POOPED. saturday will probably be my cleaning day this week!

    Wow, Mammoth! That was my home mountain when I was a kid skiing. We'd hit June Mtn on the weekends when it got busy, and then go back to MM on the week days. I do so miss the eastern Sierras. Happy Boarding! (or should I say Happy Drinking!?)

    i LOVE mammoth. we used to ski back in PA and Seven Springs Resort, and back east -  that's like skiing on ice, so out here feels like clouds! it's great. especially because i'm still getting the hang of it, and i don't feel like i broke my tailbone everytime i fall down. I've never been to June yet, because my FIL works as a ski patrolman at mammoth so we get discounted/free lift tickets there so we just always just go there. i would like to check out June sometime though! and thanks for the happy wishes! we'll just say happy boarding til i get mad at falling down and give up and start drinking! HA!
