Typing thank you notes. ---- I don't get nitpicky about much, but I will never understand why you can't take 5 minutes and properly thank each person that came to your shower and gave you a gift.
I can't come up with 3. It takes a lot to wad my panties these days.
Second showers (baby/wedding/etc.) outside of very specific circumstances.
Gimmepig entitled HS graduation parties (I am looking at YOU, SIL)
Giant hairbows on baby girls. All I can think is that the mom thinks the kid is ugly and is trying to cover them up. Lots of babies are ugly, its OK, no need to cover it up. Plus we can see the baby acne anyway.

BAD DRIVERS. For fvcks sake get off the cell phone and drive at least the speed limit. No need to do five under so you can chat about American Idol and put on your mascara. Do that nonsense at home, people.
Oh...the biggest one, while not tacky, just plain stupid is when people either dont put their kids in carseats or dont tighten the carseat into the car well enough or the straps onto the child. Take the time to do it right, it will save their life!

Locally, a 2 year old managed to get out of his car seat (straps were too loose), open the van door and jump out while the van was rolling to a stop at a light. A concussion and broken arm later, mom was charged with neglect.

I would hope so. I also hope anyone who sees her for the next six months gives her the side eye and the finger of shame. People who don't know how their infant/toddler/child should sit and be strapped into a car seat are just ridiculous. You are doing that child little good.
FYI the little clippy on infant seats goes at shoulder level.
Socks with sandals and ugly toe nails with sandals. On that note, summer outfits on the first lick of nice weather. We are not ready to see your pale, pasty arse
When family comes to your house for dinner, I mean close family, and complains about crap

The thank you notes thing. I'm pretty sure in all my life I've only received one or two total for any type of shower or wedding I've gone to. I have tacky friends apparently.
Belly panels showing under mat shirts. Not that I can always help this but I'm so embarrassed when I discover my belly panel is showing.
being looked down upon for wanting to use disposable diapers, getting the strongest epi out there and wanting to stay in the hospital (they wait on you hand and foot, love it)
I asked my doctor last week if he could give me an extra day in the hospital...just one more night past when I'm OK to go. He's thinking about it...I think I should bring all 3 of my ankle biting kids to my last appointment on Thursday so he gets it.
2. Complaining about gifts you have received (whether it's baby gifts, wedding gifts, etc)
3. Not sending thank you notes
Agree with all of these!! #2 drives me insane!! I can't stand hearing people complain about not receiving what's on their registry. The registry is just a suggestion and I can't deal with people who can't just appreciate the fact that anyone bothered to get them a gift at all, not to mention that not going by the registry means they took the time and thought to pick out something on their own. Ok, sorry haha rant over

1. Bad drivers! As in people who go up the wrong lane at the store, the spaces are slanted for a reason you moron, figure it out! People who dont use turn signals and people who slow down before getting in the turnoff lane. Grr...
2. People who take phone calls at dinner or take a phone call lasting longer than 5 minutes while hanging out. I feel like you should excuse yourself not hold a loud personal convo and interupt everyone else's dinner.
3. Lastly but definitely not the least- people who eat and make orgasmic sounds while doing so! I appreciate you think it tastes good but nothing should make you moan and gasp while giving a culinary porno dialouge "Ohhh mmyyy goosshh *moan* this mini quiche is sooo good *sigh* It melts your mouth and is soo buttery and light and *moan* I could eat them alll daayyyy"

Throwing your own birthday parties (I'm not talking about get togethers to celebrate, but full blown 30th/40th/etc. expensive for guests parties at high end bars or restaurants)
Adults who wear leggings as pants (their bottoms are not covered). I love leggings, but I just do not think that they need to be paired with a shirt that only comes to your hips if you are over a certain age.
1. The thank you note thing. Seriously, I had been to 7 weddings this past year and I received all Thank You's that have been typed with the same general message. Wow, thanks for printing me one off and sending it to me... lazy lazy lazy! One was even a Christmas card that also just said in caps THANK YOU!

This seriously has made me throw-up before. No clue why but I had to leave the table and get sick. I swore never to eat with the lady again, and I haven't.

All of this. I absolutely cringe when people don't use turn signals!!! And I really hate when people take phone calls at dinner.
1. People without manners- please, thank you all that jazz.
2. People who don't speak to you when spoken to- specifically, ex-BIL new wife when she comes to pick up her step-kids after I have been keeping them. After two years of trying to make small chat I decided to stop and be a complete witch to her back.
3. People who complain about things but do nothing to stop what ever is ailing them.
Hubs does this and everyone in the family yells at him for it. He says he feet sweat too much not to wear socks. In his defense he wears three pairs a day.
When family comes to your house for dinner, I mean close family, and complains about crap
This is my mother- everytime she comes over something is not up to par. For frack sakes I am on moderate bedrest who gives a frack if I need to dust the tv stand. Heck, I don't even turn it on until Hubs gets home.
Complaining and being unappreciative when someone does (tries to do) something nice for you.
Case in point: my FIL came last weekend to see my stepdaughter, and we got him a hotel room (to the tune of $300...it's NYC). We saw him Saturday, and he was supposed to come over Sunday morning to have breakfast with us. He called Sunday morning at the time he was supposed to come over and told us that he was back home! He said he went to the hotel and took a nap, but the room was small, and he wanted to go pick up his friends from the airport so he drove home after his nap. I didn't really care that we were going to see him that morning, but I thought it was totally unappreciative and tacky.
Grown men who tell a visibly pregnant woman "sorry this seat is taken" when the pregnant woman is about to sit in the last available seat. Yes, this happened to me last weekend when I was out to brunch with my husband on one of my allowed weekly outings. I only wanted to sit temporarily while my husband retrieved the car. And to make things worse, the person who the seat was apparently being saved for still hadn't shown up by the time the car was pulled around for me. Super tacky. Grrrrrrr.
1. People who plan the guest list for their shower around how much money a person makes so that they can get "good" gifts...
2. I have to agree with the Thank you notes. I am not big on the whole etiquette argument (Can't have a second baby shower, don't wear white before easter, can't have a baby shower thrown by your mom/ grandma/ sister) thing but, I think that it is a common courtesy to sit down and hand write a thank you note to someone who was kind enough to give you a gift.
When people cuss in front of their kids. So white trash.
People that act like they are better than you because they buy 95/5 meat instead of your 80/20 meat, or because they buy organic food and you rarely do, or the fact they eat like birds and look at you like pigs when you go back for seconds. (As you can tell, were having issues with this right now. Ya, my DH and I may not be super skinny, but I don't want to walk around all day starving and I have no desire to be a size 0 like you are.)
1. Wearing a dress so tight and having side boob at a wedding, yes there was a girl dressed like this at the wedding I went to this weekend, The only place her dress would have been appropriate was if she was going to work... on a poll.
2. Insisting on having a second baby shower and registering for all the big things again. Not my problem that you bought a pink car seat, high chair, play pen, etc and you are now having a boy. IMO if someone wants to throw you a small spinkle thats fine.
3. Bringing kids to events when they were not included on the invitation. If kids are welcome I will put their names or & family on the invite. If it says Mr & Mrs. whoever, then all I expect to see is Mr. & Mrs. whoever. Don't act all surprised when you show up and there are no other kids there.
His three plus my one; we are all excited to welcome a little one!
I think these have probably all been mentioned already... but
-unpersonalized thank you cards.
-not rsvp-ing to invitations (I sent out 30 invitations to a bridal shower for my friend, and have literally received 5 rsvps.. and the shower is next weekend.)
-sharing all your personal bid-ness on facebook. (especially re: marital issues)
Mom to Benjamin 6/2011 and Lena 5/2013; baby 3 on the way
These may not be tacky, but they sure piss me off...
1. My mom will text and drive. Pisses me off because she SUCKS at it. not to mention her precious cargo that shes driving around with her. Any time she tries and I'm in the car i'll take her phone.
2. People who refer to my unborn daughter as Princess. I don't know why but I think it's cheesy and super TACKY. I hate princess sh!t. Or any character crap for that matter.
3. My co-worker talking to me when I'm typing or trying to read something. She does it all the flippin time! And it's usually about her knitting or sewing classes....

I will call your concussion and broken arm and raise you a fractured spine and lacerated liver do to a toddler not being properly strapped in.
