Don't worry lol. DD weighs 20.5 pounds. She in the 15th percentile on height and weight but both her parents are short so the doctor isn't worried at all.
She is in the 20% consistently and that is fine with me and her pedi. She is eating good and very active. Her pedi said that unless she was in the 5th%, he won't worry.
Just got back from the doc and little C. is just shy of 24 pounds at 16 months - that's the 30th percentile, so now, of course, I'm worried!!
What about YOUR little one??
Haha! My daughter was 21 lbs 2 oz at her 15 month appt. She is in the 25th percentile. She's also in the 25th percentile for height and so, she's perfectly proportionate. I am not worried in the least and neither is her doctor. There have to be some babies in the lower percentiles, just like there has to be some in the higher percentile.
DS was 18 lbs at his one year, and even then he'd only put on 7oz in three months. He's in the 2% for weight. Our pediatrician is not concerned about it at all, DS ran circles around him the entire visit and eats like a football player. Doctor said "I can see why".
My DS is in the less than 5% for weight and the 15% for height. He is a small guy. My H and I are thin and were always the smallest in our classes growing up. Pedi isn't worried and neither are we.
he was 23lbs10oz at his last appt at 18m...he has been underweight for quite awhile now, obviously due to his eating habits and what he can eat. Nothing I can really do about it until I can get some yummy and fatty dairy in him!!! lol

23 pounds he is a light weight at 20 months I bet he fell of the charts again. He has gone as high as the 50th percentile when he has a growth spert and is due for another one soon.

eta: she was about 16.5 lbs at a year. We went in for a weight check at 13 months and she was up to about 18 lbs. The dr isn't concerned.

Is your pedi concerned? If not, you shouldn't be!!
DS was 18lbs 9oz on Friday and we were thrilled. His pedi is "concerned but not freaked out" with his weight but it has to do with the weight gain not his actual weight, he started in the 25% at 2 months nd steadily fell down the chart. By 9 months, he was off the chart and was further off the chart at a year. I'm not all that worried because all three of my kids have been tiny as were my brothers and myself. He's meeting all his milestones and developing fine so I figure he's just going to be a scrawny little Irish boy.
FWIW - DD#2 was 28 lbs (or so) at 3 years old and DD#1 was 31lbs at almost 5. The pedi isn't at all worried about them since they're staying on their weight curves.
My LO is LITTLE! He's 15 months and still only 19 lbs 12oz, which puts him under the 5th percentile (1st according to some charts we have seen). He's average in the height dept though - 31". Skinny little boy, and we are not worried at all, nor is the doc, bc he eats well and is just super active.
24lbs at 19 months...and this is great news for us. He was in the 3rd%.
Edit - he was 8lbs 13 oz at birth and slowly dropped on the charts. When the dr becomes really worried you have to get blood work done and it is he!!. Dr wasn't concerned until he continued falling on charts. Turns out the dips were every single time his reflux meds needed to be changed.

Re: How Much Does Your Toddler Weigh?
My little guy is the same weight as yours. He just turned 16 months and he is right about 24 pounds.
her 15 mo appt is next week, I'm guessing she'll be just shy of 20 lbs. She's in the 15th percentile for weight but close to 70 for height.
She's just skinny and active. She eats a ton so the Dr. isn't worried. Neither am I.
DD is 26lbs +/- a few oz. She was 24lbs at 9m, her body is changing a lot but her weight is pretty much the same lately.
DS is already 18lbs and not even 6m yet
DD1 wasn't even 24 lbs. at 2 years. She was 19 lbs. 2 oz. at 15 months.
DD2 was 19 lbs. 6 oz. at 12 months.
DD1 Feb 2010
DD2 Sept 2011
26 months - 24 lbs 8 ozs

Why are you worried?
My 15 month old is right around 20 lbs.

Life in the Making
I must be missing why you are worried...

Go Phils!!
Just got him measured and weighed at his 18 month shots last week.
So at 18 months he weighs 22lbs 12oz and is 32 and a half inches.
At her 12 month check up she weighed 20lbs 13.5oz
But my DD1 who will be 3 next week only weighs 25 lbs, which is like in the 5-10% and our pedi isn't concerned at all.

30th percentile isnt any morew orriesome than 70th
its equidistant from the extreme.
DD was 25 pounds at one year.
