Has anyone here electrically shocked themselves while pregnant? I know I'm overreacting here. You know that feeling when you hand vibrates, because you shocked yourself while plugging something in? Well I did that today. There isn't a chance baby was affected is there?

Re: Electrical Outlet Shock?
Happened to me when I was 4 weeks. I didn't know I was pg at the time (not that I shocked myself on purpose). Baby is ok.
But there's a big difference between baby at 4 weeks and baby third tri. LO is probably ok, but I would definitely call, just in case.
In my first pregnancy I got shocked by an electric fence. Way worse than an outlet.
Dr. told if I was was fine and baby was still moving normally there wasn't anything to worry about.
Check the bottoms of your feet to see if the charge went through your body (it'll look like a small bruise). Chances are the shock was absorbed, but I would seek medical attention if you do find a bruise, because the charge could have gone through your heart and that could effect the baby.
I also concur with the previous posts - if you're feeling the baby move, he's fine
