Frustrated..(a little vent)

So frustrated with my RE's office right now.  I saw him on 3/30 and still have not rec'd my biopsy results.  I called twice for them with only 1 return phone call.  He needs to speak with the pathologist.  This is the longest I've gone without getting results from him.  On top of the AF showed up 3 days early on Friday.  So I called to let him know of my new cycle in hopes that I would a) have my results, b) start my fertility meds, or c) start another course of antibiotics.  So now I get to sit another cycle out.  Hopefully I can start the Follistim in May.  I'm so sick of this IF crap!

Life As I Know It
TTC #1 Since 2/2008
Dx: Hyperprolactinemia and Unexplained
Parlodel 2.5 mg (1 Tab M,W,F; 1/2 tab the other days); Folic Acid; Prenatals
All 5 Clomid cylces resulted in BFN; no more Clomid.
Laparoscopy Scheduled 1/11/11: Path report showed minor inflammation and infection.
3/30/11 Biopsy results: cervial and endometrial pathologies normal; one pathology came back abnormal with 5 rare cells from the endometritis
Cycles 1-5 of Follistim, Novarel, Progesterone = BFN
Surprise BFP 11/18/11
Beta #1 208, p4 7.4; Beta #2 1846.20, p4 16.1
u/s #1 12/2/11 Heart rate 126 bpm measuring at 3mm

    I'm frustrated for you!  Even though it looks like you have to sit this cycle out, I'd start calling daily to get an update!  I'm sorry

    I'm sorry!  That sucks.  We have the same issue with our R.E.'s office.  If we call them it takes two or three days to get a call back.

    TTC since August 2009
    June/July 2011 - IVF #1 - Transfer cancelled due to OHSS
    23 perfect embryos. All 23 made it to freezing!
    September/October - FET #1 - October 12th - 2 Grade A embies
    October 20th - BFP??! EDD - July 1, 2012
    Beta #1 = 154, Beta #2 = 352 Beta #3 = 3,800
    U/S #2 - November 14th = 133 bpm! U/S #3 & 4 - November 30th and December 7th = 163 bpm! U/S#5 - January 30th - TEAM PINK!!!

    I would be pissed!  That stinks that they are making things difficult and now you have to sit a cycle out.  Im sorry :(

    Yes If you don't feel comfortable calling everyday, when you do call ask when you can expect to be called back.  GL!  This scenario is the one that drives me the craziest about dr offices in generalAngry, you are not aloneBig Smile

    Thanks alot ladies!  He's usually very good about getting back to me.  So I'm wondering if it is the pathologist that is keeping things on hold.  But still, why does he not keep calling this other doc to get his answer.  I know that is why my docs do in my office, especially if it may delay treatment.  I'm going to give him until Wednesday then I will be calling daily for my answer

    THat is so annoying and im so sorry. All i can think of is that your results are just fine because no news is good news. And if it was a major concern they would have told you already. Though i don't agree with making you wait and have to sit out a cycle. Im sorry sweetie. Hang in there! hugs!

    I would be angry.  I can't wait for results.  I would show up at the office and wait until they gave me an answer, but I am a little wild like that.
