How many days of "spotting" is normal?

Ever since my periods went from several days to 1.5-2 I've also had 2 days of spotting (dark red the first day and brown the second).

This month, I stopped on Tuesday and am still having the brown spotting and I'm cramping a bunch.

Is there a certain "limit" to normal with post AF spotting?

I usually have a day or two of spotting after my flow. I don't know what would be considered 'normal' though. (HUGS)

The really weird part is that there are times its like a flowing period, very heavy 'spotting'. Not sure what to make of it

I tend to have two flows - the first two -three days with a 6-15 hour break with light spotting and then flow again for a day or two and then spotting. Maybe that's what your body's doing?

If you find out, let me know! I am experiencing this exact thing right now (CD 8, 4 days after full on period stopped.) I am going to my OBGYN Monday, I will ask her as well.

I am not sure that I have a lot of insight into this, but there have been cycles that I have spotted for 5 days and it has been brown. I hope this helps a bit

I don't know what is "normal" but the three cycles post m/c I have had spotting until CD 12-14. My ovulation has also been delayed too. I really hope my body gets back on track. So annoying!
