Dear Body,
I do not do subtle. So all these little signs that labor might be coming aren't cool. Go big or go home, as I always say. Either do something huge to start labor, or cut it out.

Please don't touch my baby after I just put him down and he is asleep. I know you are excited about your grandson, but it takes so long to put him to sleep and make him stay asleep unswaddled. And please forgive the fact that I'm not dressed nor have I showered in two days. Baby sleeps, I sleep.

Thank you thank you thank you! I would have kept breastfeeding no matter what, but you have made it comfortable and a lot less stressful. We hope to not need you forever, but until we learn better feeding techniques you are a boob/nipple savior.

I realize that you are probably going through a growth spurt since you want to eat every hour or so and I will gladly oblige, but holy crap my nipples are about to fall off! I'm thrilled that you are gaining weight, though, so I won't complain too much.

Dear body,
What have you done with all my energy? Up till now we have gone on long walks and were able to do things around the house. now all we have manage d for the last few days is some reading followed by a nap then some tv again followed by a nap and not much more. I have thing I need to do around the house so if you could find that energy again I would be grateful.
Also would you please show me some signs this baby might want to come out soon, a little cramping, maybe a few BH anything!!! right now I am really needing you to do something at all.

Dear CW,
I understand that the boss has asked you to do something that is time consuming and tedious. However, before you were the lab manager, this task fell to me because I did the ordering. I'm sorry you find it to be a "pain in your ass" but again, I've done it and don't really find it all that annoying. I have my own work to do, and I understand that I may take my own intelligence for granted, but it's kind of wearing to have to explain elementary things to you that you could find out on your own if you just read the things you're looking at and perhaps tried to work on your retention skills. I simply do not have the energy to care about your petty issues with finding information on a webpage. This is something you should have learned in college, or possibly high school.

Mommy loves you more than words can describe, but I hope that soon you will realize the difference btn night/day. I do love seeing those beautiful eyes of yours & your smile makes my heart melt. But at 3am, when I'm so sleepy I can't see straight, all that cuteness is a blur. I know it will take time & Mommy will be patient, but in the meantime..can you put this on your priority list?

Hang in there buddy. I know I have been hard to deal with lately and I would love to blame the hormones, but I?m just very tired and get frustrated sometimes. I feel like a hippo and I am uncomfortable most of the time now. I know you are doing your best to keep me positive. Oh and every little wince or sigh does not mean I?m having a contraction ? trust me you will be the first person to know when that finally happens.

Dear Mom,
I'm happy you're coming to visit tomorrow and I know how excited you are to be here to meet your one and only granddaughter once she makes her arrival. But could you please, PRETTY PLEASE, find a way to can your usual passive-aggressive attitude and manage to be helpful while you are staying with us? It would really mean the world to me to have an extra set of hands to do helpful things and not just have you plant your ass on the couch and hold the baby for 2 weeks. Oh, and if you could accomplish said assistance without me having to beat my brains out trying to figure out a way to ask you for help without pissing you off into a tantrum, that would be awesome.
