Does anyone take this or have it recommended to them?
The doctors here are much more on the homeopathic route, which I'm willing to try, especially while we get DH's issues figured out.
My doctor said it lengthens LP, regulates, and decreases excess testosterone, but I'll have to take it for a few months before I see any changes.
Here's to hoping!
ETA: I just found out it's called vitex in the US.
Re: chasteberry?
oh great! I hope I don't encounter more issues.
I'm in Germany. My doctor is the one who told me to take it.
I had never heard of it until my Dr. recommended it.
You're in Namibia? That's such a huge German vacation destination.
Yes it is! There are German stores and school and stuff like that all over the city! Our landlord is an old German lady.
I was taking it during my non-medicated cycles. Now that we're on a break due to a CL cyst. I've started taking it again. I take it by pill form and also have tea that has it in it. My acupuncturist says it's best to take it first thing in the morning before any meals. This is the tea:

How do you like your acupuncturist? I'm kind of curious to try it.
Sorry about the cyst. Hopefully it's not physically painful.
Aw, thanks. It hasn't been too painful. Just some mild cramps since my last O. They were playing with my mind though because I thought they were signs of a successful cycle since I had never experienced them before.
I love going to acupuncture! I went to 3 people before finding someone I really like and clicked with. She's amazing. I look forward to it every week. It's almost as relaxing as getting a massage for me. I usually fall asleep during every treatment. Even though I haven't gotten my BFP yet, I still think it's really helping me stay calm and relaxed. I would definitely recommend it! GL to you!

It sounds great that you've found something you enjoy, even if it's being a pin cushion! All jokes aside I think it's great to find something relaxing like that. I'm sure it can help all around.
Hopefully the cyst doesn't give you any more struggles. Best of Luck!
I had been taking it for a while, but I started reading some things about not taking it after you ovulate and then was reading a lot of conflicting information, so I ended up stopping altogether.
I HIGHLY recommend going to an acupuncturist though. Especially if you are looking to regulate your cycles, etc.
