Cycle not cancelled...but I might have screwed up my ovidrel?

I was supposed to have a b2b IUI this cycle (along with Puregon (injectibles in Canada) + Ovidrel) but I went in this morning on day 8 and I had a dominant follicle already at 16, lining at 9, and E2 at 1300.  That all sounds good except my DH is going away tomorrow night until Monday night to Vegas with his friends.  I have never had an IUI before day 14 of my cycle so when we started this one we thought it would be perfect timing for his return.  My RE and nurse said there was no way I would make it through the weekend, but I got the call at lunch to go ahead and use the Ovidrel and IUI #6 tomorrow!  B2b is out, but at least the entire cycle isn't a bust!!  If he wins in Vegas, I'll take it as a sign, plus, our beta will be DH's birthday!

Problem - I gave myself the ovidrel but when I took out the needle I saw there was still a bit left in the syringe.  Not a lot, but it definitely wasn't empty.  How much "extra" do you think they put in there?

    I don't know about the Ovidrel because I never, ever look at the needles, but I wanted to wish you loads of luck with the IUI tomorrow.  I'm so glad the cycle wasn't a bust, and I hope you give DH a really awesome birthday present this year in the form of a BFP!

    IVF #1 in July/August 2011 = BFP!!!!!

    THIS exactly. Yes

    TTC since 3/07. IVF#1 = canceled. IVF#2 = 0% fertilization. IVF#3 = BFN. IVF#4 = c/p.  
    Moving forward with Adoption 2017!

    I had just a tiny bit left in mine so I stuck myself again.  I'm sure that you will be ok.  Lots of baby dust your way!!!

    OMG, LOL.  I thought of doing that but then grossed myself out as if I was using a "dirty" needle.
