Shout Advanced. It works great for set in stains. Spray the stain and launder a few hours later or the next day. I find the longer you let it sit on the stain the better it works.

I worship the makers of this stuff. It's seriously the best stain remover on the market, and I know because I've tried EVERYTHING.
Oh, and after I stopped bf'ing I realized very quickly that formula stains really badly and it's a total PITA to get out of any type of clothing.
Yup I agree with the formula and soy is even worse! I use oxi clean and shout, my mil swears by dawn..ya the dish soap and it does work pretty well! The original blue kind

I use Dawn liquid soap. I just get the stain damp, rub some soap into it, then wash it after 5-10 minutes. I love it because I never have to buy an extra stain remover and it works awesome.
so im not a second timer but in the second trimester sometime i accidentally put carpet cleaners on a stain that i had (which i never do so it mustve been a bad stain) thinking it was oxi-clean. i feared that i ruined my clothes and it actually worked really well. someone else on the bump said they use carpet cleaner too! go figure!

If it hasn't set yet, I keep a bar of ivory soap in laundry room and scrub at it a minute. If it has set, I use resolve
High traffic carpet spray! Ivory works on formula like a charm!

Dreft stain remover spray. I have not found anything else that works as well as this stuff does, even on massive diaper blow outs! I keep a stick of it in my diaper bag too. I also use it on DH's clothes because he works outside and comes home filthy!
Here's a tip - keep a bottle of Shout or whatever stain remover you want to use hangning on on LO's laundry hamper in their room. Spray the item before you drop it in the hamper then, it will be ready to go when you do your wash later, whenever that is.

I do this, but I just have a Shout stick in his room. Great advice!!
OxyClean Laundry Stain Remover...it works on dried in stains that have been sitting around for days (so you don't have to worry about soaking the stained item or washing it right away)...I have yet to meet a stain that it didn't get out.
Re: 2ndx moms: What's your secret to getting stains out?

If you feed your child breastmilk- the poop stains come out if you wet the article of clothing and then put it in the sun for a few hours.
Lisa is right about formula stains- hate them.
