I also feel the same way about soda, which he also has regularly.

She has a weight problem and keeps saying how she hopes her daughter doesn't have the same problems. I want to yell at her to freaking cook!! And make your daughter food!
And I'm in no way judging parents who don't make their own baby food. I'm saying once your kid is past purees, I think they should get homemade food.

I totally agree. And those Gerber toddler meals are gimics. Cook them something!

Me three! She's BSC but in a good way.

I really liked my MIL - way more than my own Mom who truly is BSC and not in a good way. My MIL passed away in March 2009 from cancer so I feel kinda sad when I see so many MIL bashers on here.

So sorry for your loss. ::hugs::

I beat it when I was pregnant. There was one level that took me ALL day maybe two and made me crazy. I've a a billion updates since then and refuse to play the new levels now.

I can't stand it when people dress their children the same, especially when they're not twins. I have a friend who continues to do this with her 3 children(2 boys and one girl) and the oldest is ten. It just looks silly.

I'm a believer in kids(not babies) having candy, sweets, pop, tv, etc in MODERATION - let kids be kids. If they don't like sweets, fantastic, but I think it's a bit extreme to never allow your kids sweets as long as their diet allows it.

I have my own!

Excluding words like, Mama. Dada, Baba,and sooki and I may have forgotten a few. I Can't stand when people talk baby talk to their babies and especially mine. Like " Oooky at ta wittel baby!" It drives me crazy.

If she chooses to wear these things eventually, no problem. But until then, I like to be comfortable and so will she. I am not talking about special occasions like weddings.

My UO is that I think we should rename UO's as PPO's, for "Probably Popular Opinions:" Every week, somewhere between 99 and 100% of the opinions are pretty popular, even though I think it's good that we have the thread. I like everyone seeing how much they agree on.

It doesn't bother me persay, it's get justs annoying to keep up with. It's not a big deal- just an obviously unpopular opinion.

I didn't say not cute and put together. I'm talking about lacy, frilly, things that are scratchy and/or huge poofy dresses and tutus. We get dressed every day. I wear jeans and a nice top unless I need to get dressed up and so does she. My mom wants to do a photo shoot with her every other day in ridiculous clothes. My DD is not here for everyone's amusement.

ETA: We don't wear pjs out of the house either. And IMO onsies or a shirt and jeans do not fall into that category. So here is where we will agree to disagree.

I kind of agree with LCB. Although my guys usually wear long sleeved onesies, I always get them dressed for the day. That means out of their pj's and into a shirt, sweater (if warranted) and jeans/cords with socks. They look pretty damn cute and comfy, I think. They're little people so I figure they should get dressed for the day just like the rest of us. ::shrugs::

Well I kinda agree although I knew my board straddlers post would be UNpopular as evident by the 45345 people that have to jump on my ass and demand "whyyyy".

I think there are usually few unpopular ones but it takes someone with the balls to say something fiesty and then everyone usually just piggybacks and agrees so if someone wants to flame- it wasn't them saying it in the first place.

I agree with both opinions. I DO think there are some clothes that are just uncomfortable. My MIL got these really stiff overalls. I mean, I wouldn't want to wear them. D was fussy and we changed him into soft fleece pants and he honestly was happier.

However, I do get D dressed for the day everyday. Even if it's just a onesie and cotton pants. Once in a while on a rainy day where we are staying in, I'll keep him in his PJs all day. But if we are going anywhere, I always get him dressed. I just don't like stiff jeans/overalls with large, uncomfortable snaps. They are also a PITA to get off to change him.

Right. Exactly, I know it's unpopular. Dress your kid however you want. I personally don't like them like you don't like overalls (which I don't like either ha).

LOL. I do this! 10 years old is a little old but I think matching PJ's are adorable!

And for the second, I agree, moderation is key! My kid gets plenty of cookies/candy. But when I see kids having cocoa puffs for breakfast, chocolate pudding and chocolate milk with there lunch, with M and Ms, juice and pop as snacks all day long? Its too much!

I just signed the Jamie Oliver petition. I can see my SIL rolling her eyes at me through the computer.
