I know it may not mean anything, but I looked in the mirror this evening and noticed that my belly looks more weighted down low than before, and I'm feeling more pressure when I get up and walk. Baby has had his/her head stuck down low for a while now, but it seems like the rest of things have shifted. I don't think I'm getting kicked as high up any more, and it sort of feels like more baby is down below my belly button than before. A few days ago I remember the kicks were literally right below my boobs, now they are lower.
I go to the OB tomorrow afternoon, so we'll see what she says... I so hope this doesn't mean anything else is going on down there! I hit 34 weeks on Saturday...

Re: I think baby has dropped...
Oh...kind of early for the baby to be ready however I had my DD almost 4 weeks early, so anything is possible. Good luck tomorrow!
I am getting tons of high (under the boobs) kicks and feel like i am running out of room with this boy! I have to sit straight up or else I am doomed. Eating dinner is horrible cause I get full instantly and hungry shortly after. ha! 6 weeks or less and counting!
Hope he arrives after the baby shower (5/7) cause I know a lot of work has been put into it.
Thanks! I know my doctors have been trying to make sure I make it to 34 weeks, and I personally, besides obviously wanting my baby to cook as long as possible, I really want to make it past this weekend because my shower is this Saturday, so I know what you mean! My and DH's family are traveling from all over the northeast to see me... I need to be there!
I was having some problems with indigestion last week, but not so much now, but I too cannot lean back too far in my recliner without feeling "backed up" in my esophagus. Fun stuff, eh?
Good luck to you!

FWIW, I was just reading that first timers can "drop" anywhere form 2-4 weeks before labor starts. And second timers might not drop until labor starts.
This is payback for your escape yesterday! Just kidding.
Thanks Kim! Yeah I read up on it a little after I noticed... some folks have dropped as early as 28-30 weeks and still carry to term. Also, I'm trying not to think of any possible correlations with yesterday, LOL. But you could be right, unfortunately.
Hopefully though, your first sentiment holds true for me as well!

If it makes you feel any better, i swear it feels like this kid's head is sitting on my pelvic bone.
I'm so short waisted that literally her head is all the way at the bottom and her feet are jammed up in my rib cage, she just has no room.
I hit 34 weeks today... i can't imagine her dropping any lower than she already is without coming out LOL
I really hope we get to at least the 37 week mark, but 39 would be best!
I want to go see Thor in the theatres May 6th darn it! Mommy will not be denied her beefcake!!
Kiki- Funny you should mention this. I've been going to the chiropractor for sciatic issues and on Tuesday she said I was lopsided and moved the baby. All of a sudden I felt a huge relief, the baby has been so high and it felt like he/she had dropped from my ribcage to the lower part of my stomach. LO has also been kicking me in the breast area too and my acid reflux has been almost unbearable but since this last visit to chiro I feel so much better. I?m not sure if I?ve really ?dropped? but I also feel a lot more pressure in the pelvic area than I ever did before when walking and getting up. I wonder if there are levels to ?dropping?. I also have an appointment on Thursday and plan to ask because if it?s true about the dropping 2-4 weeks before labor, I?m not ready for that, at least not yet.
